Albion will come face-to-face with club stalwart Nathan Jones and record signing Craig Mackail-Smith during pre-season.

Luton Town, where Jones is manager and Mackail-Smith a player, are among the opponents lined up by the Seagulls in preparation for the 2016-17 Championship campaign.

Albion go to Kenilworth Road on July 23 (2pm), when they will also be fielding another side at Stevenage (5.30pm).

Jones left his role as Albion's first team coach under Chris Hughton in January to take charge of Luton.

The Welshman was previously a player, No.2 to Oscar Garcia and caretaker manager for two matches in-between the departure of Sami Hyypia and appointment of Hughton.

The double-header for Albion against Luton and Stevenage comes four days after tackling Fulham on neutral territory at Aldershot (7.45pm).

The pre-season programme opens at Crawley on July 16 (3pm) after a private training camp abroad involving no matches.

The final friendly will be staged at the Amex between July 29 and 31, against opponents to be confirmed, before the season starts a week later.

The under-21s have warm-up games at Hastings, Dorchester and Whitehawk.
