ALBION are set to ditch their Dutchmen.

Elvis Manu and Danny Holla are both expected to return to Holland after failing to make an impact with the Seagulls.

Winger Manu could go back to Excelsior, where he had a spell on loan four years ago.

Midfielder Holla is poised to move back to his homeland on a free transfer, with a year of his contract still to run.

Manu, signed from Excelsior’s Rotterdam rivals Feyenoord last summer for £1.5 million, has two years remaining on his contract but does not feature in manager Chris Hughton’s plans.

The 22-year-old has not started a game in the Championship for Hughton and is seeking home comforts after an unhappy loan spell at Huddersfield.

Holla also hardly featured in the league under Hughton this season.

The 28-year-old, signed from Den Haag two years ago during the ill-fated combination of Sami Hyypia as manager and David Burke as director of football, made his only appearance as a late substitute against Preston at the Amex last October.

Meanwhile, outgoing captain Gordon Greer is hoping for a move back to the north of England or Scotland, where he spent the first ten years of his career, after being released by Albion. The 35-year-old Glaswegian centre-half is likely to win his 11th cap for the Scots against Euro hosts France in tonight’s friendly in Metz.
