Albion enjoyed a 4-0 friendly win at Oxford tonight – with Tomer Hemed scoring twice.
But there was some concern as Liam Rosenior and Dale Stephens limped off.
Both players seemed to pick up knocks, Rosenior when tangling with Chey Dunkley as the home player got in a header which David Stockdale saved well.
Other than that it was a comfortable night for Albion, who could have won by a greater margin.
Anthony Knockaert shot home on the turn in the first half after being found by Jiri Skalak.
Tom Cadman sidefooted the second after the break when Hemed’s header bounced back off the bar.
Then Jamie Murphy raced away down the right before producing accurate passes for Hemed to add his double.
Glenn Murray shot wide with a first-half penalty.
