Beram Kayal has vowed to come back "stronger and better" from his injury blow.
And he has thanked fans for their messages of support.
Kayal has been ruled out until at least December by a slight fracture above his right ankle.
The popular Israeli midfielder, writing on Instagram, said: "I know the news has come out but I have been working hard behind the scenes since I've known about my injury and I'm looking forward to coming back stronger and better than before so I can try and help the team achieve great things this year.
"Thank you for all your messages, I appreciate your support."
