Liam Rosenior steps up his recovery from more than four months out of the first team picture for Albion tonight.

The utility player is scheduled to feature as an an over-age player for the under-23s against West Ham at the Lancing training complex (7pm).

Rosenior, 32, had a 45-minute run-out in the first half of last week's 3-0 defeat for the under-21s in the Checkatrade Trophy.

It was his first action since suffering an ankle fracture and ligament damage at Reading in August.

Boss Chris Hughton, who watched Rosenior's comeback in the West Midlands, said: "Someone like Liam copes with it because he's a vastly experienced player.

"And he’s not just about playing. He is somebody who wants to coach when he finishes. He has a real interest in the game, so I think that helps him.

"It was a bad injury for him and the timing was bad as well. He has still got a fair way to go, but it is good to have him back in the group as a player and individual."
