Albion have made another addition to their under-23s squad.

They have signed goalkeeper Billy Collings from Reading for the rest of the season for an undisclosed fee.

The 19-year-old will be competing with Spaniard Robert Sanchez and Bailey Vose.

Under-23s boss Simon Rusk said: "Billy adds quality and competition to the group. With the goalkeepers we have here, it's about finding the right balance, so they're all getting enough game time to develop, and that comes from having loan moves as well.

"Robert Sanchez has done well this year and we've also got Bailey Vose who's had some very successful loan moves and we're pleased with his progression.

"Now Billy comes in and it gives more flexibility for players to gain experience out on loan, while also applying pressure on Bailey and Robert for that number one shirt."

Former Wrexham left-back Jordan Davies joined Albion's under-23s from Wrexham last week.

Davis made his debut as a substitute against West Ham at Lancing last night, setting up the second of Aaron Connolly's two goals in the 3-0 win.
