Albion boss Chris Hughton has dismissed the chances of Dale Stephens being sold this month.
Fresh speculation has linked the midfielder with Burnley again, but Hughton does not expect Stephens to depart in what remains of the January transfer window.
He said: "Not that I'm aware of. He's doing very well for us, he's very happy here."
Albion rejected multiple bids from Burnley for Stephens during the summer transfer window, as well as offers from Newcastle for Anthony Knockaert and Crystal Palace for Lewis Dunk.
Hughton said: "The chairman made a decision at that time that we wanted to keep our best players and I don't see that changing."
Stephens, Bruno and Gaetan Bong are out of contract at the end of the season, together with Steve Sidwell and goalkeeping duo David Stockdale and Niki Maenpaa.
No.1 Stockdale told The Argus: "Maybe something happens, maybe it doesn't. My full focus is on this club being where it belongs. Hopefully I can carry on that journey.
"Who knows? I am contracted to do a job and until that time I will give 100 per cent for this club and the fans."
