CHRIS HUGHTON has been getting his message across to his Albion players as they bid to get back on track away from home.
The Seagulls aim to climb back into top spot, for two days at least, by scoring a rare win at Barnsley tomorrow.
They drew 1-1 with Ipswich at the Amex on Tuesday and Hughton admits his squad are having to work through a testing time.
He told The Argus: “During these periods you train hard, you talk, you have meetings, you make people aware, you make changes you need.
“There is input from the players but I still always feel it is about a manager getting over his message and being clear.
“We have got a really good group of players who desperately want to do well.
“They want to take on everything we speak about as a group.”
Hughton is considering changes to his line-up.
He added: “It is very difficult to go through a season when everything goes as you want it.
“We are in a position in a league where we would have been delighted to have been at the start of the season.
“By our standards it is a more difficult period that we have gone through and we need to get back to winning ways.”
