Albion have no fresh injury concerns for Saturday's clash with promotion rivals Reading at the Amex.

They are still without experienced defenders Gaetan Bong and Liam Rosenior, although both full-backs are closing in on returns.

Bong has missed the last ten matches with knee trouble.

Rosenior has not been involved in the first team since suffering an ankle fracture and ligament damage in the 2-2 draw at Reading in August.

Boss Chris Hughton said: "We're fine. Bong is still out but getting closer, so that's good news. Apart from that we are okay. Liam is very close."

The Argus: Niki Maenpaa, David Stockdale's goalkeeping understudy, is also making progress after sustaining shoulder damage in last month's FA Cup exit at Lincoln (above).

Hughton told The Argus: He's not doing full training, but he's out with Ben (Roberts, coach) on the training pitch. There are no complications, it's just a matter of time with him.

"Probably by next week we are hopeful he will be in training with the team."

Christian Walton will be on the bench again as cover for Stockdale against Reading. The England under-21 international was recalled from his loan spell at Luton once Maenpaa was sidelined.

Hughton said: It was certainly the right decision. He has gone from a really good environment and playing regularly at Luton to coming back into the first team envirionment here. He is certainly better for that experience."
