Anthony Knockaert has gone easy on fellow Frenchman Yann Kermorgant – but warned him not to hurt another of his Albion team-mates.
Reading striker Kermorgant is set for a frosty reception from home fans at the Amex tonight.
His tackle in the closing stages of the 2-2 draw with the Seagulls at the Madejski Stadium in August left Liam Rosenior with a fractured ankle and damaged ligaments.
Rosenior has not played for Albion’s first team since then, although he is close to a return to contention.
Winger Knockaert told The Argus: “I didn’t see the challenge. All I know is Liam was struggling to get back, because it was a hard tackle and a tough injury for him.
“I don’t know if it was on purpose or if it was a bad challenge, but Liam is a great man with a great mentality.
“He’s just ready to get back. We just want to think about the football.
“This kind of thing can happen once – as long as he doesn’t do it again on Saturday.”
