Albion players have praised the backing they received during the 3-0 win over Reading.
Now they hope for even better when Newcastle visit on Tuesday for the top-versus-second showdown.
Glenn Murray felt the noise around the Amex yesterday was the best he had heard during his time back at the club.
The Amex will be packed when Newcastle, knocked off the top yesterday, visit.
Murray, who has silenced the Amex in the past with Crystal Palace and Reading, wrote on Twitter: “Professional performance today now we look towards Tuesday! The loudest I've heard the Amex. Let's go again #12thMan #Together.”
Shane Duffy added: “Get in there lads great result tonight! One game at a time now on to another big one Tuesday, fantastic support once again.”
Liam Rosenior, watching from the stand, also mentioned the atmosphere and described the evening as “a thing of beauty.”
