Boss Chris Hughton has hailed the "massive" contribution from Anthony Knockaert to Albion's latest win, which has taken them to the brink of promotion.

The French wizard scored both goals in tonight's 2-0 victory over Wolves at Molineux, raising his tally for the season to 15.

Knockaert made the vital breakthrough just before half-time.

Hughton said: "That was massive. It's the time of the game where it affects the team that score it and the team that concedes it.

"We had to make sure we capitalised on it. It also meant they had to open up even more and that was the case as the game went on. That's why we ended up having so many chances at the end.

Knockaert finished Wolves off in the closing stages on the break.

"It's nothing different to what we have seen from Anthony all season," said Hughton.

"You give him that space and time and he can produce. It took a little bit of weight off, because at that stage they were pushing hard and sometimes the equaliser comes. It was a super time to do it again."
