CHRIS EUBANK Junior revealed his next opponent is likely to be announced this week after watching his cousin Harlem make a spectacular professional debut.

Harlem somersaulted into the ring and celebrated an explosive first round victory with a back-flip.

Harlem’s uncle, former world champion Chris Eubank senior, and cousin Jr are both famous for their trademark leap over the top rope into the ring and the pair were at the Brighton Metropole.

IBO world super-middleweight champion Eubank Jr and his father confirmed an announcement for a first defence was imminent and The Argus understands the fight will be in July.

Eubank Jr also gave his seal of approval to Harlem’s entertaining entrance and destructive finish against Anto Nakic.

Brighton fighter Eubank Jr said: “Beautiful. I didn’t even get a knockout in my first professional fight so we’re off to a flying start.

“He’s got talent. If he can keep his head in the gym, keep his feet on the ground then we have another world champion in the making.”

He added: “He’s got the entrance down to a tee. He’s been practising the flips, he didn’t trip or anything so it went well.

“Some people say it’s even better than my jumping the rope but he couldn’t do that. He had to do something but he couldn’t do the same as me so he’s gone one better and it’s a beautiful thing.”
