Albion star Liam Rosenior will settle down in front of a television and watch his favourite full-back aim to silence one of the world’s great attackers tonight.

While many keep an eye on the forwards in the Champions League final, Rosenior will have focus elsewhere.

The Seagulls right-back will be hoping to see Juventus counterpart Dani Alves, pictured above at training last night, turn in a defensive masterclass against Real Madrid in Cardiff.

Of course, some of the Brazilian’s attacking forays on top of that would go down well.

Alves has made a habit of producing key goals and assists in Europe this season.

But Rosenior wants to appreciate the art of defence and he hopes young observes do the same.

Rosenior told The Argus: “Dani Alves is a great example for young full-backs.

“Everyone now talks about full-backs going forward and getting in crosses and shots.

“The first thing Dani Alves can do is defend. He is an outstanding defender.

“I think Juventus are the best defensive team in the world.

“Going up against Ronaldo and perhaps the best attacking team in the world is going to be incredible. If I could pick one player to deal with Ronaldo, I think I would pick Dani Alves.

“He is going to be key in the final with Ronaldo playing on the left.”
