Albion midfielder Oliver Norwood is on course for the 2018 World Cup in Russia with Northern Ireland.
He won his 46th cap in last night's 1-0 victory in Azerbaijan.
A stoppage time winner by Stuart Dallas leaves Michael O'Neill's side second in their qualifying group behind world champions Germany with 13 points from 18.
Norwood has never scored for the Irish but has represented them regularly for seven years.
The Argus revealed this week that he does not feature in Albion's Premier League plans.
Veteran ex-Albion defender Aaron Hughes helped O'Neill's men to a clean sheet last night.
They resume their qualifying campaign in San Marino in September.
