James Tilley gave Albion under-23s a winning start to their league campaign away to Norwich.
He scored with a stunning free-kick 18 minutes from time as Simon Rusk's youngsters recovered from 1-0 down to win 2-1 at the Canaries' Colney Training Centre.
Tilley found the top corner from 25 yards, a near-carbon copy of a pre-season free-kick he scored at Shoreham.
Republic of Ireland midfielder Dessie Hutchinson equalised from close range for the Seagulls three minutes into the restart when Norwegian Henrik Bjordal squared Tilley's cross back across goal.
They trailed after 24 minutes, Michee Efete firing Norwich ahead with an acrobatic bicycle kick from a corner.
Rusk gave a debut to summer signing from Celtic, Josh Kerr, and handed Aaron Connolly the role of leading the line, the Irish prospect making the transition from the under-18s.
