Steve Sidwell is back in the squad for Albion's visit to Watford on Saturday.

The experienced midfielder was ruled out of last weekend's defeat at Leicester by a back problem.

He also sat out the Carabao Cup win against Barnet on Tuesday.

Gaetan Bong only played 45 minutes against Barnet, but manager Chris Hughton confirmed today that was pre-planned for the left-back and he is available.

Albion are pointless and goalless after two matches, while Watford have taken four points from their opening two fixtures under ex-Hull boss Marco Silva.

Hughton said: "In the two games they deserved a result at home to Liverpool (3-3) and were very good away at Bournemouth (2-0). They've got very good options in offensive areas and are not the type of side to sit back and look to draw out a result.

"They are a very adventurous team and they are at home, which makes it a difficult proposition, but every game will be difficult for us.

"We've got to show some of the qualities we showed up at Leicester and eliminate the poor goals we conceded."
