CHRIS EUBANK Jr stopped Turk Avni Yildirim in Germany tonight to defend his IBO super-middleweight title and book his place in the World Boxing Super Series semi-finals.
The Brighton fighter gave Yildirim, who had a perfect 16-fight record, a count in the first round in Stuttgart when the Turk dipped after taking a powerful right upper-cut.
Yildirim came through the second round but Eubank Jr opened up at the start of the third on the one-dimensional opponent.
He finished it in explosive style with a combination of powerful hooks which sent Yildirim crashing to the canvas and the referee waved it off without even starting the count.
Eubank, 28, threw 201 punches compared to Yildirim's 91 in a dominant display.
