Albion have been plunged into a potential central midfield crisis for Everton's visit on Sunday by an injury on international duty to Davy Propper.
The Dutchman has pulled out of tonight's World Cup qualifier against Sweden in Amsterdam with a thigh problem.
Steve Sidwell (back) and Beram Kayal (broken leg) are already sidelined.
Boss Chris Hughton could be forced to drop Pascal Gross back into midfield alongside Dale Stephens and play Izzy Brown in the No.10 role if Propper is ruled out against Everton.
