Chris Hughton has called on his Albion side to make the Amex less welcoming for Premier League visitors.
The Seagulls have drawn three in a row at home against Everton, Southampton and Stoke City on Monday night.
Hughton told The Argus: “They are three very good teams, even though they’ve had difficult starts.
“The Amex is a very nice stadium, it’s generally a nice place to come.
“We’ve got to make sure it’s not such a nice place to come and play but we are learning.
“We were playing against a team with a lot of know-how, very solid at the back and difficult to break down.
“In these games we need to be a little bit more patient. We gave the ball away maybe too often.”
Albion followed an opening day defeat by Manchester City with consecutive wins at the Amex against West Brom and Newcastle before the hat-trick of draws.
Their next home game is against arch-rivals Crystal Palace on Tuesday, after Manchester United at Old Trafford on Saturday.
Jose Mourinho’s United go to Basel tonight in their penultimate group game in the Champions League, needing a point to qualify for the knockout stages.
Hughton will be contemplating changes at Old Trafford to cope with a hectic schedule of ten fixtures in 38 days, having named the same starting line-up for four matches in succession.
Phil Jones, Eric Bailly and Michael Carrick miss United’s trip to Basel, where Zlatan Ibrahimovic will start the evening on the bench.
