Beram Kayal is in the travelling squad for Albion's trip to Manchester United.

But the Israeli international will have to wait for his Premier League debut as the visit to Old Trafford on Saturday launches a hectic run of ten matches in 39 days.

Kayal broke a leg in Albion's final pre-season friendly against Atletico Madrid at the Amex in August.

Manager Chris Hughton, confirming he will be in the travelling squad, told The Argus: "The difficulty for Beram is not so much coming back to full fitness - because he's trained well, he's played in three under-23 games - it's more the form of Dale Stephens and Davy Propper.

"Particularly that triangle with them and Pascal (Gross), which has been good for us so far. Sometimes you have to wait for that opportunity, a decision from myself, whether that's an injury or the amount of games we have.

"But he's pushing hard and it's certainly good to have him back."

Albion have no fresh injury issues following Monday's 2-2 draw at home to Stoke, which stretched their unbeaten run to five games. Steve Sidwell (back) remains the only absentee.

The clash with United is followed by an Amex showdown against arch-rivals Crystal Palace on Tuesday and another home game against Liverpool four days later.

Hughton said: "I am conscious we have a really tough group of games coming up.

"Certainly I see myself over this period having to use the squad.

"I'm not one to want to make big changes but I have a squad that is pushing and there is a lot of competition and we have a lot of games."
