Boss Chris Hughton believes Albion face their toughest away test in the Premier League so far at Manchester United tomorrow.

The Seagulls lost 2-0 to Arsenal at the Emirates last month but Hughton regards the Old Trafford assignment against Jose Mourinho's United as even harder.

He told The Argus: "I think so, yes. Arsenal have showed what a good side they are with the victory over Tottenham.

"Sometimes you look back on performances against them and, similar to Man City (2-0 first day), at the time we thought it was a bad time to play them because they'd had a brilliant pre-season.

"Probably with hindsight and what they have done since then it might not have been such a bad time. But we know how difficult these big games are.

"If a Martial doesn't play, then a Rashford or Mata does. They've got quality right throughout the squad. All we can do is prepare ourselves for a tough game against a real, quality team."

Albion face a busy schedule between now and the New Year, similar to the one they encountered in the Championship last season.

Hughton said: "Last season were were fairly consistent at the top end of the table. In a period when we had a lot of games there might be games where you don't play so well and possibly you might still get a result.

"That's the difference here. It's very difficult to get a result if you are not playing at a particular level game in game out."
