It was only a few weeks ago that stories were circulating about how well the promoted clubs were doing in the Premier League.
Now the mood has changed as the fight to stay up becomes increasingly congested.
Sky Soccer Saturday pundits are all predicting one or two of them will go down.
Albion, Newcastle and Huddersfield are in the thick of the battle in the bottom half of the table after bad runs.
Can they all survive? Albion manager Chris Hughton told The Argus: "I don't know. All three teams are not at this moment in the bottom three. I don't think anyone would have anticipated that at the start of the season.
"My only concern is to make sure we have a good enough season to stay clear of that bottom three. All three have come up and held their own to a degree, even though we've had difficult periods.
"I know Huddersfield beat us but before that they had gone on a bad run, Newcastle the same, but this is a very demanding and challenging division."
Sky's Paul Merson, Matt Le Tissier, Charlie Nicholas and Phil Thompson all agree that Huddersfield and Swansea will go down.
Thompson thinks Albion will join them, Le Tissier and Nicholas say Newcastle, Merson plumps for West Brom.
The Bad Runs
