Lewis Dunk believes Albion played probably their best 45 minutes of the season today.
But the centre-back admitted they needed to turn it into goals as they drew 0-0 with Burnley.
Glenn Murray blazed a penalty too high, Anthony Knockaert hit the post and Dunk saw a header brilliantly cleared by Phil Bardsley.
Dunk said: "I think after our first-half performance - when we were dominant - we needed to score.
“It was probably our best 45 minutes of football of the season. A point is a point, but it would have been nice to get the three at home."
Asked whether Albion can end their poor run, which has seen them fail to win in seven games, he replied: “We're confident - we got promoted for a reason - and we're going to stay here for that same reason."
