Glenn Murray said he slipped as he missed a penalty for Albion today.
Murray fired over in the first half of a 0-0 draw at home to Burnley.
The Seagulls have scored just once in their last six games – a Murray spot-kick at home to Liverpool.
Murray said: “I was meant to go left and just felt my standing foot give way a bit and fired it over the top.”
