Bruno has urged fans to keep their cool as Albion battle for their Premier League lives.

The Seagulls are perched precariously above the drop zone after their 2-0 loss to fellow strugglers West Bromwich Albion.

They face the tough task of a visit from champions Chelsea on Saturday (12.30pm).

Bruno admits life is getting tough for his side.

But he declared: “We knew it wasn’t going to be easy to be in the Premier League.

“If someone thought we would be safe in February, they were wrong.

“We know where we have come from, we know who we are.

“We have been fighting for the last few seasons and we keep fighting.”

Albion have potential six-pointers at Stoke and Southampton coming up.

Bruno said: “We were really good against these teams until Saturday.

“This is going to be a massive part of this season, winning against teams who are below us or near us. We need to improve in a few aspects and I think we will.”
