Lewis Dunk feared Stoke might be handed another penalty in Albion’s frantic finale today.
But he was convinced justice was done as the Seagulls held on for a point.
Mathew Ryan saved from Charlie Adam in the 90th minute of today's 1-1 draw at the bet365 Stadium.
Dunk then raced back to slice in on Adam as the Stoke sub was about to tap the rebound into an empty net.
The Seagulls skipper said: “In the first half we were very good, we deserved to go in with the lead at half-time.
“But they changed things and that made it difficult for us.
“Obviously it was a crazy end with Mat Ryan making a great save and me making a block.
"I don't know how I got there to be honest, and I thought the ref was going to give another penalty. I thought that tackle was more of a penalty than the penalty that was given."
Dunk was convinced Dale Stephens was unfortunate to be penalised for his clash with Jese.
Ref Bobby Madley ruled it a spot kick but Dunk said: "Never a penalty in a million years, it was very soft, the ball was nowhere near him."
