Jurgen Locadia has declared himself happy with his goalscoring debut.
Albion’s record signing swept home a right foot shot just 15 minutes into the 3-1 win over Coventry.
He also hit the post and went close on several occasions before going off in the second half.
He told The Argus: “I’m quite happy with the team performance.
“We played good football, created a lot of chances and personally I’m happy with the goal of course.”
The former PSV man hit the post early on and shot wide from in front of goal.
He also miskicked when Solly March teed him up and sent a low shot straight at the keeper on the run.
There was plenty of good movement as the hosts created several chances.
Locadia added: “Today was a good start for me – and for the team also.”
