Boss Chris Hughton has urged Albion to use their own good form and the Amex to their advantage against resurgent relegation rivals Swansea.

The Welshmen are unbeaten in ten games under Carlos Carvalhal in the Premier League and FA Cup.

The Seagulls are undefeated themselves in five matches across both competitions and have only lost at home in the League to Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea.

Albion are a point and two places above Swansea in the bottom seven and Hughton appreciates why Saturday's clash has been billed as a six-pointer.

He said: "It's certainly a massive game until the next massive game. That's how it is at the moment.

"I can understand the thoughts around this game, because we are playing a team in very good form at the moment but in an area of the table where we are.

"These are the types of games that you certainly don't want to lose. But we are in good form as well and we'll certainly need to use that good form and that home advantage to give ourselves the best possible chance of getting a result.

"At this stage of the season these games become more meaningful and I can understand why people would look at this one."

Tim Krul has recovered from the whiplash injury he suffered in the FA Cup win against Coventry to take his place on the bench as cover for No.1 Mathew Ryan.

Ankle injury victims Steve Sidwell and Jiri Skalak remain Albion's only absentees.

Carvalhal has confirmed that influential central defender Alfie Mawson, who suffered a knee problem during the warm-up in the FA Cup stalemate at Sheffield Wednesday, is fit to make his 51st Premier League appearance in succession.
