Glenn Murray has revealed the magic number Albion are targeting for Premier League survival.
They believe 38 points or thereabouts will keep them up.
Albion need three wins and a draw from their remaining 11 matches to reach 38 points, starting with today’s home game against Swansea.
Top scorer Murray told The Argus: “I don’t think it’s about confidence levels and guessing, it’s about concentrating on the here and now.
“We’ve worked on a plan that if we’ve got around about as many points as games played and we are sort of on course.
“We have got to remain there, or above it if possible.”
Influential Swansea central defender Alfie Mawson will be marking Murray after recovering from a knee scare.
“I’m not bothered really,” Murray said. “It doesn’t really matter to us. We prepare for a Swansea team that we believe will start the game and who ever may be in that starting line-up we are out to beat.
“Yes, if it was weaker it would suit us but if not it’s the same job.”
