Anthony Knockaert believes patience paid off for Allbion as they hit four for the first time this season.

The Frenchman scored his side’s third with a neat finish as they routed survival rivals Swansea City 4-1 at the Amex.

Albion led through Glenn Murray’s penalty until the last 21 minutes but then won at a canter.

Swans opened with a 5-4-1 formation but piled more and more men forward as they chased the game.

Knockaert said: “The gaffer told us before the game we would have to be patient.

“We maybe wouldn’t be able to break them down straight away.

“It was all going to be about patience and what you do when we had the opportunities to break them down.

“We respected the plan really well and it worked. It is really good we scored four goals as well which give is confidence for the next few games.”
