RECORD signing Jurgen Locadia could make his second start for Albion against Manchester United – the club he supported as a boy.

The Dutch striker is in contention for a role in tomorrow night’s FA Cup quarter-final at Old Trafford (7.45pm).

Locadia made a goalscoring debut in the previous round against Coventry at the Amex.

The £14 million January signing from PSV Eindhoven had his third outing as a substitute in the Premier League in the 2-0 defeat at Everton last Saturday.

Locadia said: “I was a United fan when I was young, especially when Ruud van Nistelrooy was there, so the FA Cup is going to be a special game.

“It will be a nice opportunity for us to play at Old Trafford, knowing we are also one game away from Wembley.”

Dale Stephens and Gaetan Bong could join the suspended Anthony Knockaert on the sidelines. The pair are major doubts, any hope of them being involved dependent on a return to training today.

Stephens’ ever-present record in the Premier League was ended by a minor knock sustained in the build-up to the Everton game.

Bong limped went off at Goodison Park with a thigh strapped after scoring an own goal.

Markus Suttner is set to deputise for Bong at left-back. Beram Kayal replaced Stephens in midfield at Everton, but manager Chris Hughton also has the option of dropping Pascal Gross back into the centre of the park.

Hughton said: “It is always a blow when players miss games, particularly players that have been constant members of the team, but that’s what the squad is there for, that’s why we want competition and generally we’ve been in good shape as regards injuries.”

Solly March will replace Knockaert on the right-wing.
