Tomer Hemed is back on the scoresheet for Israel.
The Albion fringe striker put them ahead in a 2-1 defeat by Romania in Netanya.
Hemed was substituted soon after scoring on the hour and Albion team-mate Beram Kayal went off at half-time as part of a triple change by Israel's new interim manager Alon Hazan.
Hemed was suspended for two matches by former coach Elisha Levi a year ago for speaking out about his omission from the starting line-up against Spain.
He has now scored 16 goals in 31 appearances for his country.
Hemed's last goal for Albion, in the home win against Newcastle in September, was accompanied by a ban for an alleged stamp.
