Warwickshire paceman Olly Stone dismantled Sussex's top order with a blistering spell on the third morning of the Specsavers County Championship Division Two match at Edgbaston.
After the home side was bowled out for 299, Sussex went into lunch on 109-5 with Stone, on his home championship debut for the Bears, having taken 7-0-41-5.
Warwickshire resumed on 284-9 and reached 299 before Tim Ambrose (81,116 balls, ten fours) edged Ishant Sharma behind. Sussex then advanced to 30 without loss before Stone came on and Philip Salt (29, 35 balls) leading-edged his second ball to point.
Stone then delivered a sensational burst of 4-11 in 13 balls as Stiaan van Zyl, Luke Wells and Luke Wright (first ball) edged behind and Harry Finch top-edged a pull straight upwards and watched it land in the hands of short-leg Sam Hain
