BOSS Chris Hughton believes Albion are not safe yet, despite taking a point off Tottenham.

They go to Europa League-bound Burnley on Saturday week and end the season against the top three, Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool.

Hughton is not sure that 36 points will be enough.

“No and only because I can’t afford to think that way,” he said.

“Probably the most important thing on my mind now is making sure that we can try and put in the same type of effort and same type of performance in these last four games.

“The only thing I can tell you is 40 points.

“That’s the one that is engrained in most of us manager’s minds and you probably can’t afford to think any different.”

Hughton brought skipper Bruno back into the defence against Spurs in place of Ezequiel Schelotto, the veteran Spanaird’s first Premier League appearances since January.

“Sometimes it’s just a feel,” Hughton said.

“We are on the back of a period of games where we haven’t got the results we wanted.

“He is our captain, he is generally a safe pair of hands, and it was just a feel that we could do with his influence on the pitch.

“I think we were well worthy of the draw we got and personally I think it was a fair result.”
