Albion duo Beram Kayal and Tomer Hemed are on collision course with Lionel Messi.

The midfielder and fringe striker have been named in the Israel squad for a training camp and friendly against Messi's Argentina.

They link up with Elisha Levy's squad on May 29 to prepare for the clash against Argentina on June 9.

Kayal won his 33rd cap in a 2-1 friendly defeat against Romania in March, when Hemed scored his 16th goal in 30 appearances for his country.

Israel failed to qualify for the World Cup finals so their next competitive fixture is against Albania in the UEFA Nations League in September.

Messi has collected a record fifth European Golden Shoe after finishing with 34 goals in La Liga.

The Barcelona star was trailing Mohamed Salah in April before eight goals in six games, including hat-tricks against Leganes and Deportivo, took him two clear of the Liverpool winger.

It is the fifth time Messi has claimed the award, one more than Cristiano Ronaldo.
