Albion defender Ben Hall is returning to Notts County on loan, this time for the season.

The under-23s prospect helped County to the League Two play-offs after joining them in January.

County chairman Alan Hardy revealed last month they wanted the "excellent" Hall back and the Northern Irishman is returning to Meadow Lane for the 2018-19 campaign.

Hall made nine starts and two sub appearances under Kevin Nolan in the East Midlands, including three clean sheets, before they were beaten in the semi-finals of the play-offs by Coventry.

Albion under-23s coach Simon Rusk said: "Ben's move to Notts County last season proved to be a successful one for all parties concerned, so this renewed loan made sense.

"It was great to see Ben getting some first-team football under his belt, as he became more accustomed to the physical demands of senior football in England.

"We wish Ben the best of luck at Notts County for the season ahead and we'll certainly monitor his progress during his time away."

Albion recently activated an option to extend Hall's contract by another year after originally signing him from Motherwell.

He contributed to the under-23s promotion last season with 11 appearances in Premier League 2 Division 2 before linking up with County.
