Albion winger Jose Izquierdo has been handed his World Cup debut.

The left winger starts today in Colombia’s Group H opener against Japan in Saransk.

Bu the Colombians have had to leave talisman James Rodriguez, who has been suffering from muscle fatigue, out of their XI.

Izquierdo will play on the left of a 4-2-3-1 set-up.

He goes into the game with five caps and one international goal to his name.

The Colombian attack is led by Monaco star Radamel Falcao, also making his World Cup debut after missing Los Cafeteros' push to the last eight in Brazil through injury.

Falcao will look to add to his 29 international goals.
