Andy Murray suffered a setback at Eastbourne today in the early stages of his recovery from 11 months out with hip trouble.
The former world No.1, in his third match back, was comprehensively beaten by fellow Brit Kyle Edmund at the Nature Valley International.
Edmund (below) produced an impressive performance to win 6-4, 6-4 as Murray struggled for rhythmn, especially with his serve.
The question now is whether Murray will play at Wimbledon as Edmund heads into a quarter-final tomorrow against Mikhail Kukushkin.
Wild card Cameron Norrie is also through to the quarter-finals after winning another all-British tussle against lucky loser Jay Clarke 6-4, 6-3.
Norrie meets Slovakian Lukas Lacko, who knocked out top seed Diego Schwartzman.
