ALBION are offloading defender Ales Mateju, less than a year after signing him.
They are in talks to sell the Czech right-back to Italian Serie B outfit Brescia.
The Seagulls are poised to make a profit on the £2 million package deal which brought Mateju to the Amex last July from Viktoria Pilzen.
Mateju, 22, is moving to the Stadio Mario Rigamonti, initially on loan. The move will become permanent at the end of the 2018-19 season for around £4.4 million.
Mateju’s only two senior appearances were as a substitute in the Carabao Cup early last season.
A pathway to the first team is blocked by Bruno and Ezequiel Schelotto.
