Albion are set to face Benfica and Bayern Munich next season.
The Seagulls under-23s have been drawn in the same group as the Portuguese and German giants as well as Everton in the Premier League International Cup.
Albion, Southampton and Paris St Germain are all first-time entrants in the competition which gives young players from top-category academies the chance to test themselves against each other.
In the group stage, teams play each other once, with all matches hosted in England.
The group winners and the two best runners-up go through to the quarter-finals. All knockout matches are one-off ties, to be decided by extra-time and penalties if level after 90 or 120 minutes.
FC Porto have won the trophy in each of the last two seasons.
