Yves Bissouma is raring to go after signing a five-year deal with Albion.

The 21-year-old put pen to paper this afternoon after leaving French outfit Lille.

Bissouma has been in pre-season training and is expected to get a first outing in his new colours in the friendly at AFC Wimbledon on Saturday.

He sat out Lille’s friendly defeat at Reims at the weekend with his move to England looming.

Bissouma told The Argus: “I missed Saturday’s match but I did two weeks of preparation. I trained.

“Before Reims we had a match and I played and gave an assist.

“Against Reims I didn’t play because I wanted to come here and the coach and president didn’t want to take any risks.

“Our aims at Brighton will be set together.

“We need to stay in the Premier League. After, we try to do better than that.

“But the first thing is staying up and bring my best.

“The most important thing is the team, the personal side comes after.

“I think more team than individual.”
