Chris Hughton has described early exits for two of his Albion players as “precautionary”.
Shane Duffy and Jurgen Locadia both left the action during the 2-1 friendly defeat at AFC Wimbledon.
Duffy had groin surgery during the close-season but Hughton said the Irish international’s early departure was not related.
Locadia was holding the top of his left thigh as he got up after being tackled in the second half.
Albion boss Hughton said: “It’s just very precautionary. What we tell all players is that any little niggles or anything they feel, or if they get to a level where they are not comfortable, then come off and we will deal with it.
“We’ll see tomorrow. I’m hoping both of them are not bad.
“At the moment we will assess both of them and we are hoping both will be available for midweek.
“But we won’t know until tomorrow.”
