Sussex were frustrated by weather at Hove today – as the forecasters got it right.
The Vitality Blast clash with Hampshire was abandoned without a ball being bowled after the expected heavy rain swept in.
Each side takes one point, leaving Sharks still well-placed to challenge for the knockout stages.
They host Gloucestershire on Wednesday, go to Middlesex on Thursday and are back at Hove for the visit of Somerset on Sunday - with the forecast looking rather brighter.
