Albion boss Chris Hughton has confirmed the absence of skipper Bruno for Manchester United's visit on Sunday.

Florin Andone and Jose Izquierdo also miss out but Hughton does not expect to be without the trio for long.

Bruno went off in the first half of the opening defeat at Watford.

Hughton said: "Bruno will miss out. He felt his hamstring. The good news is it's nowhere near as bad as we probably thought."

Bruno could be back training by the end of next week.

Andone (groin) and Izquierdo (knee) have yet to be involved.

Hughton said: "Still at this moment Andone and Izquierdo will also miss out. They are very close (to being ready)."

Fellow former Valencia right-back Martin Montoya is expected to make his debut in place of Bruno.

Hughton said: "His level's good at the moment. As regards his availability he's fine."
