Albion are “quite relaxed” about Lewis Dunk’s future at the club, according to Graham Potter.

And his transfer window message has been echoed by Dunk’s sidekick and close mate Shane Duffy.

Dunk has been linked with interest from Chelsea, although The Argus understands there has been no inquiry from Stamford Bridge.

The Seagulls skipper is under contract until the summer of 2023.

Head coach Potter said: “He’s signed a long term contract and we’re quite relaxed about the situation.

“I’ve really enjoyed working with Lewis as a footballer and as a person. He’s really important for us and we’re really happy that he’s with us.”

Duffy added: “Since the day I have walked in, he has been linked nearly every window but he never changes, if you speak to him.

“He loves this place and I think he is thriving under the new manager.

“His performances this year have been better than every year so far.

“If he keeps going, you never know, but I know he is happy here so hopefully we can keep him.”
