Graham Potter believes new leaders could emerge in the Albion changing room after they lost two of their biggest characters.
Shane Duffy and Glenn Murray have gone out on loan to Celtic and Watford respectively.
Potter has praised their contributions to the club on and off the field.
But he believes other players might now step up and take over the mantle.
He said: "They were really big characters and personalities. Unbelievable servants to the club.
“Both will go down in the history of this club as massive players because of what they achieved, in terms of getting promoted and stabilising in the Premier League.
“I have enormous respect for both the guys so you can imagine there is a bit of a change and a new dynamic in the dressing room.
What does this season hold for Ben White?
“Players maybe grow a little bit more and other players that maybe weren't so vocal can be now.
“That is part of the evolutionary process of the dressing room. It will be interesting to see how that develops further.”
