Dale Stephens is expected to move to Burnley – but there is no deal complete yet.
The Clarets have made a bid for Albion’s experienced midfielder, who was not in the matchday 18 at Newcastle yesterday.
A well-placed source said this lunchtime that “nothing is concluded at this time”.
But it would be no surprise if Sean Dyche landed a long-term target.

The Clarets boss tried to take Stephens back to his native Lancashire soon after they were promoted in the summer of 2016.
Albion resisted their persistent approaches and Stephens went on to play a central role in the Seagulls joining Burnley in the Premier League.
