A headed first half hat-trick from Andy Atkin ensured Eastbourne Borough cruised into the quarter finals of the Sussex Senior Cup.
Atkin followed a treble against Lewes seven days earlier with another three in a 5-0 win at Hassocks.
His first came from an inswinging corner from Matt Crabb on three minutes.
Darren Budd had an effort cleared off the line and Pat Harding saw his weak header easily saved by his brother Joel Harding in the Hassocks goal.
Matt Crabb made it 2-0 on ten minutes with a header from Andy Ballard's pin point cross, then the floodgates opened with three goals in eight minutes just past the half-hour mark.
Pat Harding gave his brother no chance with a looping header for 3-0, then Atkin nodded in his second. The hat-trick was completed on 38 minutes from another Crabb cross.
As the night got even colder the second half petered out into a non-event.
