Lewes left David Wheeler on the bench for tonight's game at Kettering.

The Rooks felt Wheeler needed a rest after a number of games recently for his club and for English Schools under-18s.

Tim Rivers came into the starting line-up as the only change from Saturday's 1-0 defeat at home to Kidderminster, although there was also a positional change.

Rivers played up front with Rhys Henry switching to right midfield.

On the bench Jay Liburd returned after missing three games through suspension after being sent off playing for the reserves and there was also a place for defender Andy Wilkinson, who played just two games under Kevin Keehan.

Former boss Keehan, who resigned exactly a week ago, was in the crowd watching his son Joe.
